The AeroLight is based on the MFT (Multi-Functional Tree) and combines it with a new, particularly lightweight gullet steel. The MFT is the only saddle tree with freely moveable points. The deliberately rigid gullet steel in the saddle tree is made flexible during loading phases through our patent-protected construction – a flexible, shock-absorbing rubber membrane – without compromising stability. The principle corresponds to independent wheel suspension in a car.
The gullet steel of the AeroLight weighs only approx. 300 g – the standard gullet steel approx. 730 g. That is around 58% lighter.

The new independently suspended drop spring enables free, unhindered work of the trapezius musculature and thus, for the first time, free back action without mechanical restriction. Lameness and resistance are avoided; bending and flexing of the horse is facilitated.
