While standard made-to-measure saddles are built partly from ready-made components in important areas, all components of a Hennig bespoke saddle are individual handmade pieces – manufactured exclusively in our own workshop.

Hennig saddle trees are individually crafted in all parts according to measurements. We cast the blank from a specially developed plastic that is extremely temperature-insensitive and tailored to the rider’s weight. The saddle tree shape and girthing method are determined by the measurements of your horse.

Hennig saddles are made exclusively from leather that is specially tanned for us with a high fat content. The padding is applied in a sandwich process: latex foam directly on the horse for moisture resistance, wool towards the saddle tree for high suspension comfort.
